Questions about agency and change determine the formal aspects of this poster. The text has been written by hand using a stencil, and while the limits imposed by the format are acknowledged, they are also transgressed in the combination of two or more posters (in which case they are alternately turned on their heads). The quote I used is an expression coined by the anarchist and womens' rights activist Emma Goldman (1869-1940), a Russian immigrant to the US, who is said to have cultivated her own idiosyncratic use of English.
